eDriver vs Minimax travel orders in Slovenia (2026)
Updated:
Minimax and eDriver handle the same document from two sides. Minimax is online accounting software in which travel orders are one module: the order is issued, calculated, printed and booked. eDriver is built only to capture trips: the phone detects the trip, the app stores the receipts and prepares the export for the accountant.
| Criterion | Minimax | eDriver |
|---|---|---|

| Mileage and per diems | Already built in, for all countries | Calculated under the current decree |
| Attachments and receipts | The employee adds them to the order after the trip | Photo of the receipt on the trip |
| Bookkeeping, payment orders, REK-1 | Yes, part of the program | No; Excel export for the accountant |
| Mobile use | App for invoices; travel orders are not mentioned | Mobile app (iOS, Android) |

When Minimax fits better
- You already keep your books in Minimax and have few travel orders.
- You want travel orders, bookkeeping, payment orders and REK-1 forms in one place.
- The office or the accountant enters the trips, not the people in the field.
When eDriver fits better
- Your people drive every day and a trip must not require typing.
- Receipts and kilometres must be recorded on the trip, not at month end.
- You do not keep your books in Minimax, or you do not want to use it to capture trips.
Use both
You do not have to choose. eDriver records trips and receipts, and at month end the accountant receives the Excel export with receipt photos and carries the data into Minimax, where the order is booked and settled. People on the road type nothing and chase no receipts; bookkeeping stays where it was. Whether Minimax can import travel orders from Excel, check with the provider; eDriver has no native Minimax integration.

Frequently asked questions
Does Minimax detect trips automatically?
According to its public website (October 2026), no. In Minimax you enter the travel order, from the next order on the program offers most of the data itself, and the route and kilometres are suggested from Google Maps. Automatic GPS trip detection is not mentioned.
Do I need eDriver if I already keep travel orders in Minimax?
No. Travel orders are part of the Mikro, Mini and Maksi plans, so you already pay for them. eDriver makes sense when people on the road do not want to type anything: the trip records itself, the receipt is photographed and the accountant's input is ready at month end.
Does eDriver replace Minimax?
No. Minimax is accounting software: bookkeeping, payment orders, REK-1 forms and more. eDriver does travel orders only. The accountant can use the eDriver export to enter the data in Minimax; whether Minimax can import travel orders from Excel, check with the provider.
How much do Minimax and eDriver cost?
Minimax includes travel orders in plans from €19 a month (Mikro, excl. VAT, public price list October 2026), but that is the price of the whole accounting program. eDriver costs from €9.90 + VAT per user per month or from €99 + VAT per user per year; less with more users. The prices are not comparable one to one: you buy different things.
